Spring Tryout Schedule for 2010-2011 Season

It's almost time for tryouts for Classic teams for the 2010-2011 season.  They are coming up next month (see the schedule below) and we are asking for all participants to register online before May 31 so that we have adequate resources at the tryouts. These tryouts are only for the players with the skill, desire and commitment to play on a Classic level team.

There are a few things that are different this year:

1. Please make sure all players and families understand the commitment expectations:

• Players selected for Classic teams are expected to provide a high level of commitment and must attend all practices, games and tournaments.
• They are expected to demonstrate a commitment to individual and team improvement.
• Travel is required for away games and tournaments and over-night stays may be required.
• There are typically 2-3 tournaments in the Fall and 2-3 more in the Spring.
• Team formation will be for the entire 2010-2011 annual season.

2. Players should register online before May 31: Click here to register.

3. The tryout fee is $30 and must be paid at the first tryout session.

4. Late registrations (after May 31) will be charged an additional $15 late fee. This is separate from the Club Registration Fee which will be due shortly after tryouts when team selection is made.

Required ages/birthdates for the various age groups:

• U11 - Born between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000
• U12 - Born between August 1, 1998 and July 31, 1999
• U13 - Born between August 1, 1997 and July 31, 1998
• U14 - Born between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1997
• U15 - Born between August 1, 1995 and July 31, 1996
• U16 - Born between August 1, 1994 and July 31, 1995
• U17 - Born between August 1, 1993 and July 31, 1994
• U18 - Born on or after August 1, 1992

Schedule
It is possible that some rescheduling will occur as we get closer to the tryouts, but every attempt will be made to stick to this planned schedule. The times of each individual tryout date are tentative at this point and may fluctuate somewhat depending on field and personnel availability.
